Head Coach Romeo Lagmay, Jr. commented, “It was good to see the brand of Dawson Lady Hoops back in action with our stifling defense. We were very proud of the way our players worked and rotated in defense. Our transition defense was really good and our overall effort was great! What’s even more fantastic was our energy on the court and on the bench. The team’s chemistry was wonderful to be around. There are surely some areas we need to improve on, but we are definitely looking forward to the rest of the season for sure.”
The #2 seeded Lady Bucs will travel to New Town, ND for the pre-season Mon-Dak Conference Tournament. Their opening matchup is against #6 Lake Region State College on Friday, November 5th at 1:45pm CST.
