4-Year Transfer Commits to Play for Coach Lewis
Ryan Bridenthal Added to Baseball Roster
Ryan Bridenthal – Transfer from Tennessee Wesleyan – LHP
For the second season in a row, DCC Baseball will have a transfer left handed pitcher from Tennessee Wesleyan University in the program. Ryan Bridenthal from Clarksville, Tennessee was a redshirt last year for TWU. Bridenthal graduated from West Creek High School, where he was awarded Pitcher of The Year as well as The Coyote Award which is given to the player who best represents the program on and off the field.
DCC Baseball Coach Chris Lewis explained the process, “Things happened really quickly with Ryan and we are glad that it worked out for him to be here. We needed to add an off speed left hander to the staff to complement our other arms. Soft lefties, who can throw strikes, are great to have and can be game changers. We are excited to get to work with him and help him get prepared for the next level.”
Bridenthal said, “I chose Dawson Community College because I desire a new start. Montana is a big change from what I am accustomed to in Tennessee. I am ready for the challenge and ready to compete for my new team.”
