DCC Baseball Players earn All-Conference
In finishing his first season as head baseball coach, Chris Lewis was still able to produce several members of his program into post season accomplishments.
Three players were voted 2017 Mon-Dak All-Conference Baseball Selections: Andrew Bowles (Palisade, CO), TJ Stevens (Fillmore, UT) and Nathan Davis (Florence, KY). Andrew Bowles was also voted the Mon-Dak Conference MVP.
Coach Lewis said, “It is always great to be recognized for your efforts. Travis Stevens did a great job after two years off for his mission. He comes to practice every day ready to work and has high expectations for himself. Nathan Davis just did a great job overall, working hard at his craft and became a great student of the game. He currently holds the 3rd best ERA in the country. Andrew was named the Mon-Dak Player of the Year after being named All-Conference as a freshman. It was a great honor being selected in both his years at DCC. These three players also carried above a 3.0 GPA this season, proving themselves both on and off the field.”
