Baseball signs outfielder for next season
Cole Taylor commits to Bucs Baseball
DCC Baseball is excited to announce the commitment of outfielder Cole Taylor from Olympus High School in Holladay, Utah. Head Coach Chris Lewis commented, “We are really happy that Cole decided to play baseball at DCC starting next fall. He is a first class kid that comes from a tremendous family who provides great support. When they came out for their visit last fall, it became clear right away that he would be a great fit for our program. He is a good athlete with a solid work ethic and will only add to our culture. Since he is coming off an injury we are excited to see what he can do at full strength.”
Taylor on why he chose DCC: “Selecting Dawson became an easy decision for me. After talking to various coaches and looking into different colleges, it seemed to be the best fit for me. Attending Dawson allows me to participate in the things I enjoy; playing baseball and also have the opportunity to continue to enjoy the outdoors. My brother, dad and I had opportunity to come out and walk the campus and meet Coach Lewis. I was impressed with his enthusiasm, not just for the game of baseball but also the college. After hearing what he said I felt like it was the best school for me to meet my academic goals and give me the best opportunity to continue to the next level.”
