Baseball Buccaneer Clay Longo signs with #7 NAIA Program
DCC Sophomore left handed pitcher, Clay Longo, signs with NAIA #7 University of Northwestern Ohio. Longo transferred to DCC from NAIA Tennessee Wesleyan University at winter break.
DCC Baseball Coach Chris Lewis said, “We are really happy for Clay and that he found a program that is going to be a great fit for him in many ways. Clay received a lot of attention from lots of schools across the country, but when it came down to making a decision, UNOH had just about everything Clay was looking for. They are a great program, with great facilities, solid academics, it is closer to home and they have a first class coaching staff. He worked hard for this opportunity and he should be proud of himself. He still hasn't tapped into his full potential, so it will be fun to see what the future holds for him and UNOH.”
