Left Hand Pitcher Signs with DCC Baseball
Hunter Brill Commits to Buccaneers
The recruiting class for the 2018 spring season is off to a good start for the Bucs Baseball Team, signing left handed pitcher Hunter Brill.
DCC Head Baseball Coach Chris Lewis had this to say, “Hunter has a legitimate shot to be a dominant front line arm for us and if he puts in the work, becomes a true student of the game and excels in the classroom, he has a shot to be an impact arm at the 4 year level as well. He has put away stuff as represented by his 65 strike outs in 25 appearances last summer, finishing with a 2.13 ERA. We will have high expectations for Hunter the moment he steps on campus. Coach Glant did a great job in the recruiting process with Hunter from start to finish. This is Coach Glant’s first signee here at DCC and he got a great one.”
Brill on why he chose DCC, “Choosing Dawson was an easy decision for me. After I got done talking to Coach Glant, and learning about the connections that the coaching staff has for moving us on to the next level and the successful programs that Coach Lewis has been a part of, it was just a no brainer.”
Glant on Brill: “Hunter is a hard throwing lefty who has the ability to play at the next level and beyond. I am excited he will be one of our building blocks here at DCC.”
