Miles City Catcher Coming to Glendive
The Buccaneers recently announced the commitment of catcher, Jacie Chapweske. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2026.
Jacie, the daughter of Tonya and Dan Chapweske of Miles City, MT, graduated from Custer County District High School in May.
During her time in high school, Jacie was Academic All State from 2023-2026. She was also named Offensive MVP in 2024 and 2025 and First Team All State in 2025.
When asked why she chose Dawson, Chapweske stated, "I chose Dawson because of the successful program, the beautiful location, and the positive environment created by the players and coaches. "
Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about her, "Jacie will be a nice addition to our team. She clearly has some great accomplishments, both on the field and in the classroom, which is what we look for in our program."
