Montana Standout Commits to DCC Softball
The Buccaneers recently announced the commitment of infielder and pitcher, Nova Ervin. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2026.
Ervin, the daughter of Adam and Lindsay Ervin of Three Forks, MT, will graduate from Three Forks Hills High School in May.
During her time in high school, Nova had a lot to be proud of at the plate. Her sophomore year she recorded eight homeruns and her junior year she hit 11 . In 2025, she was ranked #1 in the state for her slugging percentage (1.439) and on base percentage (.708). She was also ranked #2 in the state this same year for a batting average of .667.
When asked why she chose Dawson, Ervin stated, "The academic program is amazing and I know I'll get a great education while pursuing my softball career."
Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about her, "We are really excited about Nova. She brings a lot of great qualities to the team, including her power at the plate. There's no doubt that DCC just committed a good one!"
