Dawson Signs Arkansas Guard
Travion Robinson from Lisa Academy North in Little Rock, Arkansas signed to play basketball at Dawson Community College next year. The 6'3 guard averaged 25 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals per game.
"Travion has the potential to be a big impact guy for us and he's got a really high ceiling if he keeps working," explained Dawson Coach Joe Peterson. "He has good size and athleticism for a guard and is really good on the defensive end. I think our system will be a great fit with his ability and will really help him develop as a player. He is another high character guy that will fit in well into our program and the college community."
Robinson was a two time All-Conference and two time All-State selection. He helped Lisa Academy North win 83 games during his high school career. As a junior he averaged 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals per game.
According to Robinson, "I feel like Dawson would be a great place for me to grow on and off the floor, especially seeing the players who came before me. I'm excited to get to work and continue the winning culture at Dawson."
