Coach Tami Lagmay Reels in Left Handed Pitcher
Dawson Community College Head Softball Coach Tami Lagmay is pleased to announce the signing of Ashlyn Cowdell from Crimson Cliffs High School in Washington, Utah.
Coach Lagmay said, “Ashlyn will definitely bring a different dynamic in the circle with being a LHP. She brings a left-handed pitching presence that will be a great addition to the Buccaneers. Her movement and accuracy will make her very effective in the circle. Also, she brings in a tremendous amount of power to the lineup. Ashlyn is very confident and passionate about being the best on and off the field. I’m excited that she chose DCC to start her college experience.”
Ashlyn stated, “I chose Dawson because it felt like home right when I arrived on campus. I loved the family atmosphere. Also, I really loved the small town and how the community there is so close that it just gives you a warm welcoming feeling.”
