Deven Creech Softball Conference Player of the Week
The Mon-Dak women's softball player of the week is Deven Creech, a freshman pitcher/first baseman from Dawson Community College.
During a 2-0 week for the Buccaneers, she had 5 hits in 7 plate appearances (.714%). Her hits included 3 home runs, 2 of which were grand slams and one solo shot. She also hit 2 singles and had 9 RBI's, 3 runs scored, and a slugging percentage of 2.000.
Deven is from Billings, Montana and she attended Billings West High School. Coach Jim LeProwse stated, “Deven is a special talent and it will be fun to watch her mature and progress as the season goes on. This is a great start to her college career and was exactly what I felt that she was capable of.”
