DCC's Chris Davidson Chosen Player of the Week
The Mon-Dak Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week is Chris Davidson, a 6'4" freshman guard from Dawson Community College. During a 1-1 week for the Buccaneers, he scored 32 points, had 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 blocked shot. He also played outstanding defense in both contests. Chris is from Melbourne, Australia and he attended Nazareth High School. Dawson lost to #5 ranked College of Southern Idaho on Friday and beat Colorado Northwestern on Saturday in the CSI Thanksgiving Tournament.
Dawson is 8-2 on the season and will be competing in the Gillette Border Wars this weekend which matches up 3 teams from Region XIII and 3 teams from Region IX. Dawson will open up with Western Nebraska Community College on Friday.
