Redshirt-Freshman Trajan Sparks Won Mon-Dak Player of the week after his dominant performance Vs. Mesabi Range. The first baseman was a key piece in Dawson's success, putting together an impressive week offensively. Sparks showcased his ability to hit for both average and power, consistently delivering in big moments and helping fuel the Buccaneers' lineup. During a 4-0 week for the Buccaneers he was 6-11 at the plate for a .545% batting average. He had 3 home runs, 15 RBI's, scored 6 runs, 1 sacrifice fly, 3 base on balls, and was hit by a pitch. Trajan is from Lewistown, Montana and attended Fergus High School.
