Dawson Volleyball Signs Middle from Idaho
Dawson Community College is excited to announce the signing of Siera Petesch of Bonners Ferry Idaho. Petesch is a 5’9” middle All-League volleyball player and captain for her team. She is a three sport athlete and has had success not only in her athletics, but also in the classroom earning honor roll recognition and being a part of National Honors Society.
Petesch had this to say about committing to Dawson, “I grew up in a small town and I’ve loved having my community supporting me through everything. I’m looking forward to that same feeling at college. I’m also excited to have such a great coaching staff. Getting to play at the next level is such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to start at Dawson.”
Coach Dina Fritz says, “We are so excited to have Sierra next year. She brings a lot of energy to the court and works hard in her position which is exactly what we want in a middle in our program. She also takes her academics very seriously and works hard in the classroom. She is a great student athlete to look up to and that is what we strive for in our program.”
