Dawson Community College is announcing the signing of Brittany Kaufman from Glendive, Montana.
Kaufman is a four year varsity player from Dawson County High School where she received both academic and athletic honors over her high school career. As a team, she was a part of a second and third place finish at the Divisional Tournament and a third place finish at the State Tournament for Class A. Kaufman finished her volleyball career with an Honorable All-Conference Selection as a Freshman, Second Team All-Conference as a Sophomore, First Team All-Conference as a Junior and All-State as a Senior.
Along with her successful athletic career Brittany has had a lot of success in the classroom as well. Being an honor roll student, taking dual enrollment classes and college courses, and being Academic All-State all four years are just some of the accomplishments she has received as a student athlete.
Brittany had this to say about choosing Dawson, “I chose Dawson because I love the environment of the school and volleyball team. I also wanted to stay close to home, it was a perfect fit.”
Coach Dina Fritz said, “I have been watching Brittany since she was a freshman and have loved watching her progress over the years. She has a great attitude and is a great athlete and I know will help us reach the high goals we are setting for next season. I am excited to work with Brittany and watch her grow even more over her time at Dawson both as an athlete and a person.”
