Canadian Infielder Coming this Fall
The Buccaneers recently announced the commitment of infielder, Ryley Bourdreau. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2025.
Boudreau, the daughter of Kelly and Darcy Boudreau of Airdrie, Alberta Canada, graduated from W.H. Croxford High School in June.
During her time in high school, Ryley helped her team win Bronze at the 2024 Canadian Nationals. Most recently, her team competed in the 2025 Alberta Provincials where they took Bronze. Her travel team, Kaizen, is headed to the 2025 Canadian Nationals at the end of this month where her team will represent Alberta as the #3 seed.
When asked why she chose Dawson, Ryley said, "I chose Dawson to be challenged, to grow, and to compete at a higher level in the classroom and in the game."
Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about her, "Ryley will be a good addition to our team. She comes from a highly competitive program in Canada where she's had to learn how to work hard and compete. Nothing comes easy for Canadian softball players, especially when trying to get recruited. Her willingness to take an opportunity to come down and play in the U.S. just speaks to her mindset, drive, and determination."
