Four Softball Players Named to the 2024 All-Region Team

Brooke Lijewski, Shelby Blankenship, Stocktyn Stevenson, and Riley Price have been named to the 2024 All-Region Team.
Brooke holds a batting average of 0.459. She finished with a total of 68 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs, 61 RBI's, and five stolen bases. She was the starting catcher for a majority of the season. Brooke also filled in at 3B and shortstop.
Shelby finished the season with an average of 0.383. Blankenship had 67 hits, six doubles, two triples, 30 RBIs, 73 runs scored, 19 walks, and 37 stolen bases. Shelby started in right field and pitched for the Lady Bucs.
Stocktyn has an average of 0.427 with 76 hits, 12 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 39 RBIs, 77 runs scored, 28 walks, and 31 stolen bases. Stocktyn has served in many roles for the Bucs, both in the infield and in the outfield. Primarily, she found her place at third base.
Riley batted a 0.327 with 34 hits, seven doubles, six home runs, 35 RBIs, 10 walks, and five SACs. Price garnered 283 strikeouts, 18 wins, and an ERA of 3.076.
Head Coach Casey-May Huff stated, "I am very happy for these four! Not only do they take care of business on the field, but in the classroom and community as well. It is nice to see them recognized for all their hard work!"
Three of the four players are expected to come back for the Lady Bucs. Brooke Lijewski has graduated and will move back home to attend a four-year university in Wyoming where she will study Computer Science.
