Price Named Region XIII MVP Player

Riley Price, freshman pitcher and first baseman from Mesquite, NV, was named the Region XIII MVP. Riley has led the Bucs to their successes this year. She's pitched 171.1 innings, faced 766 batters, has 18 wins, nine losses, three saves, allowed only 156 hits, and has struck out 272 hitters. Currently, Price has an ERA of 3.105 going into the District games this Friday. 

Coach Casey-May Huff had this to say about Price," Riley has been an invaluable member to this team. She has shown tremendous grit in the circle. Her workhorse mentality is what makes her so good, not only as a pitcher, but as a teammate and as a leader. She is very deserving of this award!"

Riley is ranked #2 in all NJCAA DII pitchers for strikeouts. Ranked ahead of her is the pitcher the Lady Bucs will face this Friday at 12:00PM.
