Bio
Dawson Community College welcomes Abby Helm as the new assistant cheer coach. Abby grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming where she attended Rock Springs High School for four years. In high school, Abby was a cheerleader all four years and was cheer captain for two of those years. She cheered competitively all four years of high school on co-ed and all girls stunt and non-stunt teams. She continued her education at Western Wyoming Community College and cheered there on an athletic scholarship, while completing her degree in Early Childhood Education.
Abby has lived in Glendive for seven years with her husband Isaiah, while staying at home being a mother to her two children, Noel and Nathan. Abby says, "Cheer has been and still is an important part of my life and one of my passions. I have the opportunity to continue my passion and teach the younger generation of cheerleaders as the assistant cheer coach at DCC. I look forward to the growth and success of our team, Go Bucs!"
