DCC Cheer Add to their Roster
The Dawson Community College Cheer squad has added Riley Larson of Conrad High School in Conrad, MT for the 2021-2022 season.
While cheerleading during her junior year, Riley played volleyball, basketball and softball all four years of high school. She is a member of National Honor Society and maintained a 3.8 GPA through high school. Riley has been an active member of FFA for 6 years. She has been a ten year member of 4-H and is a Montana 4-H State Ambassador Officer.
Riley commented, “I am so excited for the opportunity to cheerlead for Dawson Community College. I toured many schools and not one of them felt like home until I got to DCC. The staff and students were so welcoming, informative and passionate. I love that DCC is a smaller school and gives me the chance to make connections with so many. I’m excited to use my tumbling skills, as I am a competitive gymnast. I plan to pursue my associate's degree in Livestock Production with the goal of getting my bachelor's degree in Agriculture Extension. My long term goal is to become an Agriculture Extension Agent and give back to other communities in Montana.”
Coach Ericca Berry said,”We are so excited to have Riley on our squad. With the cheer team being only in its 2nd year and growing, it will be so fun to have someone like Riley with her tumbling skills on our team.”
