Bio
Coach Dan Christmann comes to Dawson Community College after spending the previous two seasons as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Northwestern Ohio. During his time at UNOH, Christmann was the Varsity Infield coach, Junior Varsity Hitting/Infield Coach, Head Recruiter of Junior Varsity baseball seeing over 50 signees in 2019 alone, as well as being the only coach on staff to have seen multiple former players selected in the MLB draft. Christmann also assisted in leading UNOH to their first ever NAIA World Series appearance and Regional Tournament win in 2018.
Before UNOH, Christmann was the Hitting/Infield Coach at Southwest Community College which saw the draft selections of Andrew Miller (25TH Round 2017 to Tampa Bay) and soon after Rusber Estrada out of Faulkner University (24th Round 2018 to Atlanta).
Prior to Southwest, Christmann served as Infield/Outfield Coach at his alma mater Hilbert College out of Buffalo, NY where they made the AMCC Conference tournament for the first time in school history in 2016. During his time as a player at Hilbert, Christmann was an All-Conference, All-Sportsmanship, and All-Academic student-athlete.
Coach Christmann graduated with an MBA from the University of Northwestern Ohio and BS in Sport Management from Hilbert College.
