DCC to Host Summer Basketball Camp

The Dawson Community College Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs will host their annual summer basketball camp June 13 to June 16 for boys and girls.  Camp times will vary according to age groups: 7-11 from 8-11am, 4-6 from 11:30-12:30pm, and 12-17 from 1:00-4:00pm.  The cost is $60 for the 4-6 year old session and $95 for all other ages.

Some of the daily camp activities will include fundamental skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense.  There will also be team strategies taught as well.  There will be contests, prizes and awards.  Each camp participant will also receive a free basketball, t-shirt, camp photo and prizes.
