Kayla had this to say about choosing Dawson Community College, “I chose to attend Dawson because I feel like it’s a good start for me. I come from a small town so continuing my education at Dawson won’t be too much of an overwhelming change. I like the campus and the faculty. Everyone is so nice, supportive, and wants the best for my future. Dawson cares about your academic success and I know going here will help me achieve my academic goals and prepare me for the future.”
Coach Ben Sandy is also excited, “Kayla has only ran one season of cross country and I hope I have convinced her that she has so much potential to become a great collegiate distance runner. Kayla can go as far as she wants to with her running, including becoming an All-American runner!”
